ABOUT ME

I'm a self-identified farmer with drifting tendencies and an incurable wanderlust. I have no plan, but am instead driven by the pursuit of truth, place and happiness.

PHILOSOPHY

Truth, for any man, is that which makes him a man.

Intereses

Mainly, keeping honest and happy. At any given moment this might mean swimming in any open body of water - preferably one with a rope swing, wearing overalls, having dirty knees, sleeping in, getting up early, getting holed up in sweatpants with a good book, good food, good television, good movies, good drink, farming, generally spending the day outside, hiking and backpacking, road tripping, aimlessly road tripping, snowshoeing, eating, drinking beer, weeding, and generally adventuring. I like to be outside, I like to be comfortable, I like physical labor and I like seeing, tasting, hearing, and smelling new things.

Música, películas y libros

I'm a devotee of fiction, and the classics in particular. The Russian guys dominate my bookshelves, as do the Beatniks, and Henry Miller.

I'll listen to it all, really. Right now, I'm enjoying John Prince, Townes van Zandt, Doc Watson, Old Crow Medicine Show, Fela Kuti, Jayme Stone...

I have no one skill or talent to teach, but I'll openly share all I know with you, whether it's how to say orange juice in dutch or how to prune a tomato plant. I can also teach you how to eviscerate a chicken, or offer you the world's best chocolate mousse recipe.
