COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we had some wonderful people staying at our place (unfortunately, our living situation is not very couchsurfing-compatible right now) and stayed ourselves at some great people and decided that couchsurfing is a great invention!

Interessi

movies! reading, cooking, chocolate, painting, tinker, sleeping, dancing, singing (but don't worry, generally only when i'm alone), washing dishes (yes, i reallyreally love it that there's no dishwasher in my flat, it's like meditation) and so on... but most important of all: spending a lot of time with great people!

movies: david lynch, hayao miyazaki, stanley kubrick, monty python, takeshi kitano, coen brothers (only the old ones - and of course no country for old man. for a short time it looked like it they were getting good again...), spike jonze, michel gondry, fantaghiro, bin-jip, drei haselnüsse für aschenbrödel, american psycho, most stuff from/with zack braff, gabelstapler klaus, costume movies in general, audition, the little mermaid, heisse katzen, american psycho, barbarella, garden state, el laberinto del fauno and about a thousand more...

music: bach, mozart (the magic flute!), massive attack, michael bubblé, rage against the machine, beatles, blur, oasis (it was once upon a time...), eels, foo fighters, maximilian hecker, seeed, stiller haas, NIN, ingrid michaelson, martina topley-bird, archive (only the old stuff), dean martin, damien rice, joshua radin, sigur rós, nick drake, portishead, well, actually everything that makes me singing and/or dancing...

books: peter hoeg, philippe claudel, voltaire, walter moers, bill bryson, jonathan safran foer, the curious incident of the dog in the night-time... and a lot more, but my bookcase is not portable like my ipod, so right now nothing else pops in my mind... except of course, that the great thing about books is that sometimes there are fantastic pictures. :)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

right now i cannot remember "the" one big amazing thing i've done or seen. i've never married (and do not planing to do that), have never given birth to a child (blimey!:))
but - watch out, it's getting cheesy - aint it true that the little things are what's really amazing about life?!
like reading a good book and then stumble across one fantastic sentence? or listen to a great song.
and one of the greatest things of all - thank youuuu, evolution - smelling!! there hardly is anything that is so great and triggers so many feelings as smelling. smelling the rain, the sun, coffee... and most of all... the right person :)

and of course there are a thousand things i'd like to learn, i don't even know where to start. maybe learn decent english first. :)
