About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Working on it..

ABOUT ME

Easy to get along with. Try to go with the flow. I try not to take everything too seriously. I do like to make fun about everything but with no harm or disrespect; I can laugh at myself pretty easily. My bank account is always empty since I prefer to give rather than to recieve. I only save when I want to travel. I believe in the goodness of strangers.

PHILOSOPHY

"The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page"

"It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to spread the word whenever I can. I get a lot of that "you phsyco" look everytime I tell people about it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My dad was a couchsurfer in his late 20's. I guess he still is in a way. He'll always brag on how he traveled around the world with US$50. He did take us when we were young on some of his "adventures" and it was embarrassing at that time. But now when I think about it, they were really amazing experiences and explains why he knows all the people he knows in Scandinavia, Iran, Japan, Afghanistan, Spain, etc. I think that's how my parents really met...hahaha...probably not.
I've made really good friends from France (5 in total) who couchsurfed with us almost 10 years ago and remain very close. Rene and his buddies from Puerto Rico. Dustin and Justin from Fallon, NV. There are so many.

Interests

I'm a food freak. Anywhere I travel, I'll take a cooking class or 2. I'm not into fancy, high-end cuisine but more into street food; Food with soul. I don't go by the rules when I cook; sometimes the result is one messy disaster but every now and then, I'll come up with a kick-ass dish. I'd rather go to a restaurant for a nice meal than out clubbing.
