About Me

CURRENT MISSION

take out trash/recycling, CHECK! wash dishes, CHECK! mow grass, CHECK! Have friends and adventures on seven continents... Soon, very soon...

ABOUT ME

We are a collective house, and we try to include everyone in decisions, so please try to give a few days notice if you would like to stay here. The wheels turn slowly and deliberately here, so a little planning on your part will help us a lot. Asking at the last possible second kinda makes us think you didn't bother to read this. ;-)

We have a cat and a dog. In case you're an allergic person. We have extra sleeping space that is separate from animals, just in case, but the house is animal friendly.

Thanks. :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Treat everyone like ladies and gentlemen, not because they are, but because you are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We host a great deal, and try to stay active in the CS community here in Dayton. I (jared) also surf as often as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couches surfed on four continents now, and trying for all seven. Antarctica is really hard though. :-)

Interests

Climbing, caving, cooking, reading, learning, film... Wow! I get bored faster every time I fill these things out. My interests do not include these fields getting filled in. I'll get back to it I promise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a single rope rappel off the face of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, California. That was kind of amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a raconteur after about one drink, so stories are certainly the best option. I am also happy to be put to work. I like to be useful, and I feel that the best friendships are made by working together to accomplish something. Sometimes that can be doing the dishes, other times I'm fixing broken electrical systems. Whatever needs done. :-)

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Canada, Cuba, Ethiopia, France, Germany, India, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
