ABOUT ME

I am a college student in Baltimore but come home (to Nashville) for the summer. I am majoring in Sociology with a concentration in social justice and Spanish.

Social justice and the environment are my two primary causes and passions.

I enjoy studying and reading about different cultures (mostly ethnographies). Right now I am on a Native American, Mayan, and Eastern Europe kick.

I love ethnic food more than anything else. 1. Indian 2. Thai 3. Japanese. I am vegan so I enjoy cooking interesting and new things.

I am interested in freeganism and minimal waste.

Photography is probably one of the few hobbies I partake in on a regular basis.

I collect postcards (new and vintage). I love sending snail mail and receiving it too! send me something!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in finding myself but creating myself. I believe in creativity, change, and openness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think cs makes the idea of traveling so simple. I also think that when visiting a new place the people are as intersting as the sites you see. I want to meet different people. I want to utalize cs in my spare time by visiting places far and close to me. In the mean time I welcome people to meet up with me and explore my hometown (Nashville), with a coffee trip or shopping. Unfortunately I am a nomad right now and do not own my own home, and am not able to host.
