HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Though I can't host right now (don't really have my own place) I want to experience culture and insight from the places I travel. I hope to be more active in the future, but I think any effort to draw people together into the greater global community that we are is noble.

Intereses

These are a few of my favorite things...
the smell of lady bugs, climbing any tree I can reach (I'm kinda short and can't jump), I love the color green of lodgepole pines when the sun hits the needles at about 5pm in the summer time, crunching leaves in the gutter, walking barefoot in the rain on warm asphalt, turtles, snail mail, coffe (a new sad addiction), philosophising and making connections, reading/listening to stories, candels, campfires, fire in general, snowshoeing, biking in KS country), soccer, hiking, yoga, falling asleep to the rain...

Once I find author/director I like, I am hooked: Paulo Cohelo, Chuck Palahniuk, Kurt Vonnegurt, Tom Robbins, C.S. Lewis, Paul Tilich, Henry David Thoreau...Tim Burton, Jim Henson(MUPPETS!), Mel Brooks, Darren Aronofsky, and the favorite "Fern Gully"...String Cheese Incident, Yonder Mountain String Band, Toto, The Beatles, Indigo Girls, Ska in general, Indie, Folk, and Bluegrass (I am easily influenced in my music selection)
