About Me

CURRENT MISSION

backpacker who wants to change the world

ABOUT ME

I love to travel. I have backpacked Europe a few times and love to meet new people. There is nothing like a local showing you their town. I have been lucky and met many, many generous locals in my travels. Some other passions of mine are playing sports, reading, cooking. I love life.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem

Learn like you are gonna live forever, live as if you are gonna die tomorrow.

Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is always open to backpackers. I most likely will cook up a good meal for you too. Backpackers are the coolest people. I have met plenty in my travels and enjoy their company. Many locals have taken me into their homes throughout my travels, I hope to repay and keep the good karma flowing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have crashed on many, many couch's. Heck- I usually fall asleep on my own couch- more so then my bed.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love it all- Alternative, Punk, Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, Reggae. I have 1000s of CDs, LPs, and 68 gigs of music. I am a compulsive reader who tends to read 5 or 6 books at a time. I tend to read nonfiction. I loved A Brief History of Time. I collect cookbooks and love to read up on meteorology, chess theory, science, history, astronomy, current events. I do enjoy the classics too.

And I am a big fan of NPR and PBS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

backpacked Europe 3 times- amazing experiences! I am hooked on traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is learning. I have a wide array of knowledge that I would be happy to share. Some things I would like to teach others would be:

travel info
cooking
sport training and nutrition
books

Lots of other things. I would love to share whatever knowledge I have accrued. I love to learn too and the best way is to pick someones brain that is good at what they do.

Countries I’ve Visited
