ABOUT ME

I pretty much just like to enjoy life and try not to take things too seriously. I like to help those who are willing to help others. I strive to learn more about this world and those in it by participating in couchsurfing, both as a host and a traveler. I love to have fun, whether that be out dancing, sitting at home reading a book, or cooking a delicious meal for friends and family!

PHILOSOPHY

The cure for boredom is curiosity....there is no cure for curiosity.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I think couch surfing is a wonderful idea. I love to travel, but don't often get to experience all the hidden wonders that a place has to offer because I travel like a tourist. I want experience what city has to offer from a person who lives there. I want to share my city with those who feel the same way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences both surfing and hosting. I hosted so many wonderful individuals in my Columbus home and have stayed with so many wonderful souls while I lived in Costa Rica for awhile. Nothing but love for CSing.

Intereses

Snowboarding, camping, yoga, biking, hiking, traveling, sushi, chuck taylors, DANCE PARTIES, new places, familiar faces, climbing on things, scooters, dressing up, snowball fights, playing in the rain, freshly picked vegetables from the garden, summer cookouts with good friends, board games on rainy days, learning new things, seeing the world.....

Snowboarding in the Canadian Rockies was breathtaking. The Coastlines and Natural Parks in Costa Rica are stunning.

As for teaching; I know a little bit about biological sciences and a lot about snowboarding. As for learning: I am always up for learning! And as for sharing; I can always share with you a warm smile, a good conversation, and and glass (or two) of wine.
