CURRENT MISSION
Enjoy life, live in Pyrénées before to think about the next travel!
ABOUT ME
After environmental studies, i worked in the Pyrénées (moutains), and then i went to live one year in Romania.
That was a really great experience to live there...: wwoofing on a biodynamic farm, visiting some alternative projects, learning the language, volunteer for an association about rural development, hitchhiking, discover this orthodox country after communism period, country of contrasts in transition (rural/urbain, rich/poor, modernity/traditions)
Before to think about the next destination, i m living in Pyrénées
I just came back from Romania where I stayed one year...I will soon change my profile!
Hi,
I'm French and I'm currently living in Romania. During 3 month I was volunteer on an biodynamic farm near Sighisoara. It was a great way to meet Romanian people, to discover their way of life on the village, and to share nice, warm and simple time with them. And of course I could learn also the biodynamic production...
After that I visited some projects in Romania: ecological village (close to Timisoara), biocoop and organic farms (shop in Sibiu with just local and organic products), factory of organic cheese to support familial agriculture (village close to Brasov),projects about rural development, heritage, education and culture (Association `Hosman Durabil` close to Sibiu), association 'Alburnus Maior' in Rosia Montana which is oppose to the gold mine which entails the destruction of the village and to use cyanide, ...
And now, I`m in Mosna, a village close to Medias (between Sibiu and Sighisoara) to work about the european project Leader (rural development for villages which want to work together)...and a few various voluntary work in the village (hay, garden in an organic farm which is in the network wwoof, family farms, association, school...).
I`m not sure to have a room to host you but we can meet up for a drink or a hike…
Pa! See you! A bientôt!
