About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to take full advantage of the freedom I have right now, learn a lot about myself, others and the world
ABOUT ME
I am from a small town in the USA and I have always wanted to explore different parts of the world. Since finishing college in 2004 I've spent a year and a half in Tokyo, a few years living in NYC and backpacked through Latin America for a year. In my opinion, traveling and having different experiences is the best education you can find and it's exactly what I should be doing right now! So I am happy to delay the 'normal life' for a few more years for more adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
At the moment I'm on a 2-month cross country road trip and will look forward to meeting new people from different parts of the US. When I return to Boston I will offer my place for couchsurfers there.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been couchsurfing since 2008 and have had amazing conversations and connections. These experiences, especially when with local people, have always been the most rewarding and rich experiences because I have been able to connect with the local culture and of course, practice the language (when traveling abroad).
Interests
traveling and living in different places within my country and worldwide, writing about my travels, learning new languages, meeting people, food (usually exotic is more interesting to me) long afternoons in cafes with a book, journal or a friend, tennis, skiing, rollerblading in Central Park, picnics in the park, roadtrips, recently learned to dance tango (although I need to keep practicing!) and many more things yet to be discovered

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed Mt Fuji in the middle of the night in a crazy rainstorm, an experience I will certainly never forget!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you about my working and living experience in Tokyo, Japan and how to start a location independent online business using a podcast! I can teach some tennis if we can find a court. I would love to have a chance to improve my spanish and learn more about the local people in the places I am traveling, participate in local customs.
