ABOUT ME

I love music... I play the guitar, write my own songs and sing (www.myspace.com/amazingpaige). I love to laugh and I love being completely ridiculous most days. I do have my serious side, but I try not to let it get in the way of enjoying life as it is... most of the time.
I'm just moved to Reading, PA after living back in Little Rock for a year... before that I was in Chiang Mai, Thailand for a little over a year teaching English to 5 year olds (amazing!). I'm just in transition here in Reading, but would still love to meet people and have some fun while I'm here!!

PHILOSOPHY

Sing loud. Laugh louder. Work Hard. Play Harder. Basically, trying to want what I've got rather than wanting what I don't have/can't have. Which is harder than it should be! And also, trying to love where I am and truly experience where I am without dwelling on the past or focusing too much on the future, or wanting to move too quickly to the future... which is also very hard to do! As far as I know, I only have one life and only one today, I won't spend it worrying about tomorrow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love showing people around, hanging out, and making new friends! It's always great to hear people's stories, where they came from and where they're going. mmmm... lovely!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've basically just met up with people, we did host one couple which was an AWESOME time, they were lovely. I've shown several people around Chiang Mai, introduced them to my friends and taken them out and about... it's a blast!

Movies: Anything funny... or sappy... Liar Liar, Dumb and Dumber, Mean Girls, Waitress, Balls of Fury, The Notebook, Wedding Crashers... etc. etc.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Well, about a year and a half ago I went to a hill tribe village about 4 hours north of Chiang Mai with 20 monks, 8 other people from various countries, and about 10 Thai people to teach English for the weekend... It's not so much about the fact that I did it, but that it was probably one of the most amazing experiences I've ever been privy to. Monks are so cool.
