Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My first surfing experience was in Buenos Aires in 2009. It was a very nice introduction to couchsurfing, I tried it several times afterwards in South-America, but it didn't really work out due to my short-term requests. In my home I hosted several very nice people, mainly from Germany, from one night to a few. We always had a nice time together, although I didn't always have a lot of time to share.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had one very nice surfing experience in Buenos Aires, it was a very good way to get to know a little more about how things work over there.
Since I'm back from Latin America (in 2010) I have also hosted for several times, all very nice experiences with beautiful people. As it should be!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In summer 2008 I went to Wroclaw in Poland to volunteer for three weeks on a 'construction site'. This was organised by IBO (International Building Organisation). It was an amazing time, working together with 11 other volunteers, having the time of our life in wroclaw and making the best of our free weekends by going to Krkonoze National Park, Krakow and Oswiecim. People I met there became really good friends and with one of them, Koen Crauwels I've been travelling through Latin America for 8 months.
