ABOUT ME

First and foremost, my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is catching & hanging out with frogs. Presently, I’m working to save up for a road trip across the US, followed by many trips abroad in the years to come. My only source of income is a part time after-care position (The 15 children I take care of inspire & challenge me to be the most environmentally creative person I can be), but my goal is to become an art teacher. The mega goal is to allow more children to let loose their inner creativity and also to seed environmentally friendly values in them that will bloom into a better world for everyone. Most of my after hours activities are fueled by my passion for art, adventure, imagination, nature, knowledge and my undying curiosity. I also mentor with the big brothers big sisters program. I’d ultimately like to experience the many cultures and philosophies around the world, so i can be the most well rounded human being and teacher I can possibly be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If your passing through Delaware, I'd be more than happy to entertain you for an evening or introduce you to other possible couches to crash on. There’s a ton of glorious things in the tri-state area, they're just invisible to the untrained eye.

Although Delaware is small, there are still many amazing local artists/ musicians. Not to mention tons of beautiful parks, woods, and abandoned buildings (perfect for exploring or squating). Also, I'm a great dumpstering partner, photography adventure companion, and dinner party planner.

Interests

Photography, watching things grow, adventures [by bike, foot, or carpool], the mysteries of the deep sea, building forts, hanging out with little kids, rock climbing, creative & lucid dreaming, getting by on as little as possible, picnics, laughing, optical illusions, Art shows, gardening, miniature versions of everything, exploring abandoned buildings, waterfalls, and dinosaurs.

Jams: anything from jazz to funk - french lounge - pop punk - afrobeats - the king of soul - 60's acoustics - and so on until the end of time.

Books: My goal is to have my library close to completion by age 25. My favorite books are intense pop up books and photography books, but i also enjoy brilliant novels like Ishmael.
