ABOUT ME

I like to take pictures, look at pictures, see the way light makes pictures pretty and try to control it. I like the smell of a freshly developed photo in my darkroom.
I love the outdoors. a sunny hot day is great, but the magic that can be found in a mossy wet forest is astounding. Camping, hiking, biking, surfing, rock climbing are what fills my spare time.

I'm usually solidly working, or solidly NOT working. The nature of my work means long days back to back so its work hard, then holiday hard.

PHILOSOPHY

If you find something you love doing and get payed for it, you'll never have to work another day in your life.

A stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet!

I have offered my couch since i signed up for CS and i have met some of the best people of my life and have started what i know to be long lasting friendships around the world. I've traveled and experienced the generosity of others and its truly a magical thing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really enjoy Hosting guests, Ever since I've moved away from Ottawa I've offered a place to stay to anyone I knew in Ottawa. Since I've moved here I've offered my couch to people on many occasions. I've hosted many surfers and never regretted any of them. I have learned and gained so much from every experience.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

a spontaneous trip to Arizona. standing naked in the tundra of alaska. skiing fresh untracked snow with no ski lift for miles. a meteor shower when I was 8.
