About Me

ABOUT ME

Hey Im Blake and from Melbourne, Australia- but have been in Sydney for about 7 years.
Actually for the last 18 months I've been between the two- and haven't decided where to settle.

I've been to all continents and many countries- so love exploring new places and avoiding the regular tourist destinations- prefer to meet local people living life than other travellers.

I've spent a lot of time overseas- many months in Mexico, Honduras and Egypt working as a scuba diver.
Now I work is tourism for Latin America and the Polar regions- I love these places but because that is work, I like to visit different places in my free time.

I'm pretty easy going- not much phases me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In about a year of living in my old house, i don't think there was more than one week straight of not having a traveler there!- which was great!
I used CS in Mexico where i lived last year and met some great people. Otherwise I used it a lot more on my first trip in Europe!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

At my house in Melbourne we often hosted travellers from around the world. Not through couch surfing tho, just from meeting great people and tehy end up staying. We always enjoyed having new people around- sleeping on various couches, matresses and trampolines... Since i been in europe, the favour has definatley been returned, and have met some great people to couch surf with.
