ABOUT ME

We met in college and now we live here in Boulder where we raised our 3 children. We live with a wonderful community of friends and have enjoyed hosting international students for the past 15 years through the University of Colorado. We have both done our separate travels, traveled around the states, and we have been to Europe together twice...

PHILOSOPHY

Well over the years we have both settled down a lot and for the time being we just like to enjoy life and continue inviting people into our home as we watch our kids grow older!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Our youngest daughter is now leaving on a five month trip to Europe and she is Couch Surfing around Europe so we figured we may as well do the same! We currently have two students from the UAE living with us from the local International English Center through the University but we still have an open couch!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have not couch surfed but we have hosted several couch surfers ...it has been a good experience thus far!

Interests

We both love to READ! I teach 2nd grade and my husband works with alternative transportation at the University, so we both work full time, but on the weekends we like to hike in nice weather, wander the Pearl street mall, and hang out...

Music, Movies, and Books

The list is far toooooo looonggggg. I like heart warming and intellectually stimulating books and movies, my husband is hooked on thriller adventure novels and movies....we like most everything, and I read just about anything I get my hands on...Music...we still love what we grew up with Nancy Griffith, James Taylor, Rod Stewart , all the
"oldies" along with the influence of our kids, Greenday, Sublime, Dido, Jenny Lewis, Old Crow we pretty much like anything relatively mellow.
