ABOUT ME

I have lived in Kalamazoo my entire life. It's a great city...but there's more to the world than this. I traveled for work (before getting laid off) around the eastern half of the United States. It's a great job that allowed me to get out of the office about once a month. I love to travel whether for work or fun and enjoy many activities from dancing, singing, reading, visiting art museums, tasting wine, cooking, sports, and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of movies...too many likes to list. Music - there's not a whole lot I don't like...particularly in to blues, bluegrass, jazz, rock. Less screaming is better. Books...suspense, Jane Austen. My goal is to read 3 books a month, if you have any suggestions, I'm open to them.

Teach, Learn, Share

When trying to teach someone a new technique or give them a new piece of information, instead of just giving the instructions, make it a story that they can relate to. People will remember it better if there is a story or practical application to apply it to.
