ABOUT ME
I have been away from. Couchsurfing for a long time while I was living and working abroad. So many things have happened since that time. Life is taking me in a different direction right now. I have long stories to tell and I would like to share them with others. I'm in Cairo, Egypt for the moment. I will be in Toronto, Canada towards the end of October and then I will be heading back to my native country Ecuador, which I left about 30 years ago.
PHILOSOPHY
Learn to be happy with what you have instead of being unhappy because of what you don't have. People are naturally good. It's not what people say that hurts you, it's how you interpret it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I will start hosting when I return to Ecuador. In the past I used to answer most emails as soon as I received them and always try to offer helpful advice and information about the city/country. I enjoy meeting people for coffee or lunch or dancing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm meeting interesting people and having a lot of fun.
Interests
I LOVE to dance. I grew up in Latin America so dancing is in my blood. I also like walking, trekking, biking and board games. Does anyone out there like Chinese checkers?
And I love to laugh. A laugh a day keeps the doctor away.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm interested in alternative/natural medicine, nutrition, spiritual development and meditation so I read books on these topics and strive to practice what I learn. Favorite book: The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How do you define amazing anyway? I once rode my bike several meters with my eyes shut just to see how far I could go before opening my eyes, when I actually opened them I had just enough time to jump off the bike before it rammed into the sidewalk- that felt pretty amazing. On the other hand, I've lived in several countries, visited many more.. I guess two of the most amazing moments for me were seeing the ruins in Machu Pichu and walking on the Great Wall of China- the view was absolutely incredible.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everybody has something to teach and I'm sure people can learn from me as well (one can only hope, right? :D). Either way, I'm getting wiser by the day and the load is becoming lighter.
