Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I jumped the pond, I found myself sleeping on couches a lot. As a traveling musician, I still do . . . Glad to find a community of like minded folks across the world - gives me a chance to give back some Karma, and get out and meet some of the most generous of heart.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed and hosted. Nothing but GREAT experiences! Made wonderful friends.
Interests
Love talking to people. Creating music with people. Performing, writing songs. Traveling. . . . just as well really.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies? Once, I Am Sam, Little Voice - yeah I know, I'm a softy.
Books? How Green Was My Valley by Richard Llewellyn, Sharon Kay Penman historical novels, Lord Of The Rings, Douglas Adams, etc. Lots of non-fiction too.
Music? Now this could be a long and varied list, and a long and passionate discussion into the wee hours . . .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living, performing, and having fun in the USA for the last 21 odd years. Wow is it 21 already?
Learning to swim in the seas off Crete. Recently paraglided in the Swiss Alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach songwriting and co-writing, guitar, vocal techniques, at songwriting retreats - Ireland, Scandinavia, Crete etc.
I have taught Tai Chi, but that's a few years ago now :O)
And somehow my name gets mentioned when people arrive new to Nashville. I've lived here since 06 - guess I've learned a few things about the music scene here in town. Happy to pass it on.
