ABOUT ME

I value honesty, connection, authenticity, sincerity, harmony, and growth. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist, I live in Austin, Texas with my husband Nathaniel. We traveled solo for years before finding one another and now we are learning to travel together.

We are both students of connection and communication through Non Violent Communication. There is a book by Marshall Rosenburg worth reading.

We love AcroYoga, Massage Therapy, and Traveling.

I am Seasonal, fun, always learning. I am grounded in my thoughts but I don't presume to have anything figured out. I want to learn from each person I meet. I make friends fast. I think relationships are circles like all good things in life. I think life is full of seasons, I am trying to embrace each one of them! I love to be outside in the sun and the water, and I love to have fun!

I am a certified Thai Masseuse.

I have kept a journal almost everyday sine I was 9, that was is 1997.

Nathaniel is native to Austin, Texas. He loves to juggle- he has traveled all over the world to attend the international juggling conventions and can try to teach you how to juggle 8 balls. He rode his bicycle from Austin, Texas to Panama City, Panama in 2008 (see photos in my albums), and he is the smartest guy I know, he loves to read his physics text book for fun and looks up to "Bucky" Buckminister Fuller.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch was open for a few years while I was in San Marcos, Texas and I loved hosting travelers from around the world. I lived in Australia for a bit and backpacked South East Asia and India, couchsurfing along the way.

Movies: Clearly I love movies since I studied film. I love watching them, making them, and knowing why they were made.I love my GoPro.

My first trip to Africa, backpacking across the Kalahari Desert, when I was 15 gave me such a love and appreciation for traveling, people, and opportunity to learn from the world around us and everything in it.

visiting an Elephant Sanctuary in Thailand, where we fed, swam, bathed, and loved the elephants, was one of the happiest days of my whole life.

Spent our 3 month honeymoon on a tiny island in Guna Yala.
