ABOUT ME

Tyree and I have a small house walking distance to downtown Bellingham with a garden and chickens. We share an art studio in a collective in the heart of Old Town. We enjoy good food, beer and wine. We're avid readers and book collectors. We have a 9 year old child who spends most weekends at his mom's house, a dog and cats. It's our tiny urban farm.

PHILOSOPHY

We both enjoy simple things...good food, helping friends, growing plants, building beautiful useful objects and beautiful art, together and separately.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have a tiny house but we have an extra twin bed and cushioned floor space. If you don't mind urban camping, there's always the back yard. Just you and and hens and the zucchinis.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're both new to CS, but we've both done a bit of traveling in the US and Europe. We're hoping to do some more soon.

Interests

Reading, building stuff, painting (Tyree) bookbinding and fiber arts (Janet) being a little geeky. We have diverse musical tastes and like to go out for drinks or music sometimes. Not too huge on the club/dance scene. More into the two bottles of wine by the campfire scene.

Music, Movies, and Books

Our house is full of books. Mostly literature and how-to. Tyree likes Murakami, Pynchon, Tolkien.....JAnet likes Bukowski, Neal Stephenson, Garcia Marquez...

We like all kinds of music. Seriously.
