WE... are Laura and Shannon Smith. Happily married for a couple of decades now and still like each other. We've lived in TX, UT, and most recently CO. However, we've packed it all up into a storage space in MO and were taking off to see the world again.

We are on a mission to live our lives more fully.

Currently we are traveling and trying to figure out how to make traveling a more permanent state of being. We have traveled in the past and now we are hoping to stay out there longer. We're starting our current wanderlust with a 4 month road trip in the USA. living out of our truck, hiking, backpacking, exploring the Pacific Northwest to see where we'd want to live next in the USA.

After our truck life, we will venture back to Europe to fulfill a 20 year tick list item, hiking the El Camino de Sanitago. We're going to do the traditional route first, but who knows, we might just keep walking. We've planned extra time so we can be spontaneous along the way.

Our last planned portion of our wandering will include a year in South America. We want to explore different countries there and possibly teach or find other ways to make a living along the way.

After that we're not certain. We may keep traveling if we've discovered how to sustain ourselves. We may settle down somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. We're just not sure.

One thing we do know is that we're not guaranteed tomorrow so we want to get out there and see as much, live as much, and experience as much as we can. We'd love to meet and make friends with peoples of other cultures, philosophies, ways of thinking. We want to challenge ourselves to expand and grow.
