关于我

CURRENT MISSION

November 2008 trip with a friend to Thailand and surrounding countries

ABOUT ME

Recent college grad who wishes he was still there :) I miss meeting new people with new ideas all the time. It's a lot harder to do that working at an engineering firm. That's why I'm so excited to get out and travel again in November :)

PHILOSOPHY

I just try to focus on being truly happy today instead of worrying about being happier tomorrow.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'm currently living on a friends couch, so I don't really have a couch to offer anyone - but I might be able to convince him to let you use his other couch ...

Haha. I'll have my own couch again once I return to Washington, DC in September 2008.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm living on a friends couch now until September 2008? That's about it :( I stayed with a family in Germany for a month, and hostel hopped around Costa Rica for 2 weeks.

兴趣

Wow - I'll try almost anything at least once.

Pick-up sports, reading, writing bad poetry :), math (yes, I like math lol), acoustic music, jazz and swing, woodworking/house-repair ... and I actually like my job (engineering). I like making things.

- oh yeah, did I mention traveling, meeting new people, and friends? :)

音乐、电影和书籍

Contact, Donnie Darko, Assult on Reason, Brave New World, Lord of the Rings, Cherry Poppin Daddies, other swing/jazz ... wow, so many, could go on forever

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Met two cool Costa Rican teenagers who didn't know a word of English, but know what "the shocker" was. I'm still not sure if that's hilarious or frightening.

Rappelled down a 150 foot waterfall without a safety rig in the middle of a jungle.

Had a pick nick on the top of a submarine in the middle of the ocean. Took a swim, without any land in sight - just a small steel submergable beach.

Almost got stuck in Costa Rica ... literally. Well, that wasn't really cool. I do wish I could have stayed longer, but by choice :)

First person in my family to ever graduate college - I'm pretty proud of that.

教,学,和分享

Well, I'm pretty good good at math, science, and electrical/computer engineering - but I'm not sure if there's a huge market for that out there :)

Also, English is my native language, so I could share that.
