ABOUT ME

I'm a laid back gent with a wide open view of life. I feel blessed to be able to play this ridiculous game that we call life and to experience it in all of it's fullness and grandeur. I'm pretty much up for anything at any time, though most of my risks are calculated. I love food, music, conversations with interesting folk and grand adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm currently in a very existential, who am I point of my life. I'm looking to figure out about myself by traveling the world. I study the universal message of Sufism which are the teachings of love, harmony and beauty. As stated above I feel blessed to a part of this world and am interested in finding out all that I can about myself and my fellow human brothers/sisters.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just getting started. I´ve met a few folks on here and it seems to be a great way to meet locals in different parts of the world and get a real experience of a culture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done my fair share of couch surfing in the past, not so much recently. I've taken so many road trips around the US that have brought me to many different couches. I spent many a nights on couch's, floors, garages (I actually had a buddy who lived in a garage)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a music nut. Better off saying I'm a sound nut. I enjoy all forms of sound and music and vibration. On a musical level I listen to lot's of Rock, Hip-Hop, Blues, Reggae, Folk, Classical Indian and of course while here in Colombia a lot of Salsa and Reggaeton. A few artists that represent my musical influences could be Wilco, Mos Def, Howlin' Wolf, Damien 'Jr. Gong' Marley, Bob Dylan and Pandit Pran Nath.

I love film as well and generally love anything Cohen Bros., Scorcese, Jarmusch, Tarantino, but that seems so limiting. Some favorite movies include Pulp Fiction, Down by Law, City of God, Lord of the Rings Tril., The Godfather

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'd say hiking within the Grand Canyon has awarded me the greatest sight of my young life. And here in Colombia I could name a few hundred different experiences I´ve had, but New Years in Parque Tayrona was definitely a highlight.
