I've just finished a MA in Anthropology and I am going to spend four weeks in Israel...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted many people from all over the world and have also couchsurfed myself. Being naturally nosey by nature or perhaps just plain curiosity I love the idea of seeing snippets of other's lives and other cultures in a way that staying at multinational hostels just can't do. I haven't used Couchsurfing for a while, so it'd be nice to get some experiences from it.

Books: War and Peace, Anna Karenina, Love and Exile, Night, Two Thousand Years, Catch 22, Cider with Rosie, Down and Out in Paris and London, Catcher in the Rye, Huckleberry Finn, Bonjour Tristesse, The naked and the Dead, Kaput, Kafka, George Orwell, most classical European literature especially anything from Russia.

Music: Bob Dylan, folk, blues, flamenco, gypsy jazz, anything that has feeling essentially.

An insight into brittish culture which you can't get from staying in a hotel; parties, places to go bars etc. but most of all brittish people.
I enjoy learning of other people's opinion on brittish people and society.
