About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Personal wellness.

ABOUT ME

I suppose that since the rest of this page is "all about me" that I'll put a completely random fact in this box. I read the entire Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series during my lunch breaks in the breakroom of Wal-Mart when I was desperate for a quick job one summer. The experience of reading it in that breakroom was as interesting as the books themselves.

PHILOSOPHY

c'est la vie, c'est la mort.

No matter how much control you think you have over life or death, there is a vast, constant degree of uncertainty in both...which is the most beautiful thing about it. Work with what life delivers while endeavoring to better it for yourself and everyone you meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

reading graphic novels and prose ones to boot. watching movies (recent favorites: No Country for Old Men, Deadman, Paprika) and some shows (The Sopranos, The Wire, Lost). listening to, right now, the Kinks and Lightning Bolt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Tokyo, After getting out of school and walking to the train station with some friends, I put a plastic bag from the pastry shop over my head and made monster noises while stomping around. This was mostly because I had pent-up foolishness from sitting through the most boring class I've ever had in my life. Honestly, the room was unbearably hot, the professor sounded like a boring version of Ben Stein, and we didn't even discuss the literature in any meaningful way. Anyways, what was amazing was that I was just fooling around, but soon I had a crowd, and when I took the bag off, I had people asking for my autograph!
