ABOUT ME
Work hard, play hard. Good food, good drink, and good company.
From Detroit area, I studied abroad for four months each in Rome and Beijing. Now at graduate school for International Relations.
As I travel, I am looking to savor life; sketch, keep a travel log and meet great open-minded people along the way.
Check out the video I made of my journey on the Silk Road in China:

PHILOSOPHY
I don't kid when I say work hard, play hard.
A typical day this summer in Washington, DC:
8:30 in the office
noon- lunch from food trucks, eat it on the river
5:30-6:30 Working happy hour
6:30-8pm happy hour and dinner with friends around the city
8pm check emails and watch project runway
10:30/11pm pass out.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I attended the Opera "Rusalka" at the Teatro'del Opera in Rome. The Little Mermaid was based on this story, but the Little Mermaid pales to the glory of Rusalka. I cried because it was so beautiful. The set, the costumes, and the amazing voices on stage were incredible as well at the theater itself. It was straight from Degas' work that was set in a theater. So gorgeous.

In the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, they say that a towel is the essential travel companion. It is true. There are so many functions for my dandy, green, travel towel, that it never ceases in its usefulness.
