CURRENT MISSION

We are about to have our 1st grand child in July. Son-in-law will be coming home from Turkey (he is an archaeocolgist) about that time, so I get to deliver the baby. All by myself!! Not really. But I get to be there.

ABOUT ME

As a teenager, I was a hippie. My husband Mark and I got married young (he was barely 21 and I was 19)and we will celibrate our 38th anniversary. I love to travel and Mark love it once I drag him kicking and screaming out of the house. We have an huge brown dog named Max who weights 122 pounds. We have a daughter who lives in Chicago.
A description of myself. I am a short, fat woman with no chin and an easy smile. I love to laugh and I laugh a lot.

PHILOSOPHY

The next best thing to solving a problem, is finding humor in it.
This "over-the-hill-hippie" is not interested in lots of money or people who tries to impress me with how much they have.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hopefully, I can help people understand the south. I have lived in the the Atlanta area almost all of my life and I love to travel. So I can give advise on where to go, where to eat, what to see. We have had exchange students from Germany, Russia, Georgia, Spain and Brazil

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't had any yet. We have gone to Germany, spent about 1 month in Great Britian, Switzerland, Italy.

Interests

I love working with wood. Staining etc. I love to read all sorts of books. I now have rooms of books. Love little kids and animals.
