ABOUT ME
I live in cologne since 3 years, together with my husband Jan, our son Mattis (born in mars 2015) .
I like getting to know people. It's great sharing stories, thoughts and food, learning about the live and the culture of each other, just spending time together. Travelling and hosting is a good way of doing this.
I love spending my time outside, hiking in the mountains, having picnics, singing in the forrest. I love to make fire and sleep under the sky.
PHILOSOPHY
I still think about this...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surf and I host people.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was travelling 3 weeks in Turkey with Servas. The system is similar as Couchsurfing.
Later I became a member of Couchsurfing. It's easier and quicker than Servas 'cause Servas doesn't work by internet.
I travelled a lot with Couchsurfing, mainly in France. I had just positiv experiences, both surfing and hosting. During my studies in Montpellier I hosted many people.
Interests
I love music, singing in a choire and alone, listening to my housemates making music (they play the piano, guitar, singing)
I go for a walk or running in the parks nearby very often. Since I live in cologne I miss the natur. So sometimes at the weekends I go to the Eifel for hiking.
It's great to drink a cup of tea and read a good book but I also spend lots of time with my friends - visiting each other, cooking together, working on a urban garden or participating at bicycle-demonstrations.

Music, Movies, and Books
i love danceable musik with rhythm and melodie. And last summer I was in spain. There I discovered the flamenco music for me.
My favorit autors are Rafik Schami and Markus Werner.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once I spent 48 hours alone in a forest in New Zealand. It was a project of "outdoor education". I was in a 4m2 area in the forest which I wasn't allowed to leave for these 48 hours. I didn't have a clock, any light nor book, just a little bit to eat... and myself (and a tent). It was great!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like learning languages. The next language I'd like to lern is spanish. I understand a lot but speaking is still difficult.
And I can teach you singing if you want. Well, I mean, we could sing together. I have many song books and a guitar.
