About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Figuring out which way is up

ABOUT ME

I love a good tears-in-your-eyes, stomach cramping laugh. That along with a great book, a hammock, and a peaceful, sunny day.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in early mornings, hugs, smiles, love, knowledge, passion, and the healing power of tea with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Celtic, folk, bluegrass, classical, alternative rock, country
Books: Favoriate authors are Barbara Kingsolver, Wally Lamb, Milan Kundera, Gianni Rodari, Rosemund Pilcher
Movies: I am a sucker for historical period pieces and epic dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One summer I drove to northern New Mexico where we camped on the canyon floor. From our position on the top of the mesa the next morning I could see for miles and miles and in that space, not a single sign of human impact. I was inspired by the overwhelming sense of something completely wild and untouched.

I have also witnessed a miracle. But that's a story for another time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a lot about art and how to make sushi and I teach hatha yoga. I also speak passable Italian and would love to practice!

I am always interested in new recipes and creative ideas. I would love to know more about sustainable houseing and agriculture.
