About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to rock!!

ABOUT ME

When i was about 15 i started playing guitar and havent looked back since! The last few years ive been getting professional vocal training and i would love to help anyone if i could with their voice in any way that i could. in fact if i start talking its hard to get me to shut up. i travelled a fair bit, a lot of it with my old band touring, and im currently in the states, trying to get some tunes together, and money to get a van and get moving again.

PHILOSOPHY

I appreciate every philosophy, we all have them, as long as its positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted and met a fair few Couchsurfers, and i'm going to keep as involved as i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people now, all of whom have been amazing and its always a reason to tidy up your house when your flat mate wont!

Interests

Throuhout life i've always found something to be a wee bit obsessive about, but for a while musics been my thing, since i was about 15 i've been singing or playing guitar or bass in bands, played accordion and tried a few other things when i was younger, and with my main band i've been around a lot of europe touring. I'm very interested in other peoples way of living and thinking. I like any fun activity really, used to play basketball religiously for years that was my main sport. Since ive been travelling ive started getting into philosophy and psycology, learning is great.
I guess i like to do anything as long as i'm doing it, and not just fannying around, although that does have time and a place, I hope that makes sense.....

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: always loved rockin music, but since i have been singing professionally it seems like i can apprecitate anything as long as its either good or done well, but i have a weak spot for anything with some kick, genres i like to listen to are ; rock (all kinds), funk, punk, blues, reggae, soul, metal, ska, hardcore, thrash, drum n bass, techno, who am i kidding theres good music everywhere.

BOOKS: DERREN BROWN!! the mind is capable of so much, i love reading about how to use it better, and ive not read nearly enough. bits of philosophy, psycology, science fiction, biographies lots of variety, i always like have a few books on the go at any one time.

FILMS: love films seen way too many to list the good ones, although the Coen brothers are way up there, i'm pretty critical though, i'm not easily blown away but i enjoy watching most things and i appreciate good ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I learned 25 songs in a month, and went on a month long european tour with a bunch of scary dudes. I carried a huge leather chair with zoabe (cser) for miles when we were wasted, i still think that was pretty amazing considering the state we were in!

Teach, Learn, Share

I sing and play guitar and bass, wee bit piano, i can speak all right french, and everyone has knowledge that perhaps they themselves didn't realise that they had, so if i can, i like to help people see the good in themselves.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
