ABOUT US

Jacques is born in Tangier, lived, studied and made a career in advertising in Paris, now living between Queensland, Australia and Nusa Lembongan (Bali).
I am 63, but still 30 yo in my head. I consider myself a citizen of the world and used to dream of a planet without frontiers. I married Julie in Brisbane in 2014 and again in Bali in 2015.
I am fit and healthy, exercise a lot - gym, swim, sea kayak.
I am passionate about photography

Julie is 29. She is a born traveller and and undertook photography since we met. She is from La Reunion Island, a French Island in the Indian Ocean next to Mauritius.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I completed a trip to Mexico, Cuba and Puerto Rico and I mainly used Couchsurfing for my accommodation in Puerto Rico and Mexico. It is definitely the best way to travel. Knowing that a friend is waiting for you in a city you visit for the first time, being connected to their friends, being shown or told about the good places to go are all invaluable introduction to a country and it's culture. I made real friends every where I stayed and feel now that the people who hosted me and the people I hosted in Brisbane form a community of men and women who share real values - curiosity, open mind, individuality, independence and respect for other cultures.

well, I'm 63 so I did a lot in my life already and I have a few skills to share - see my interest sections. I made my career in advertising and direct marketing so I know a bit about business and I love to help young entrepreneurs to set themselves up and become independent and successful. I also scuba dive and fly planes. I love photography and share my skills with fellow photographers.
