Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm not traveling, why not have travelers stay with me?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I search for hosts before travel, I put in 'bike' as my keyword. It's like putting in the search terms 'find new friends'. Love for bikes plus love for travel equals awesome people. Thank you CS for making it easy to find my community all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer nights, eastside of the lake, taking in the cityscape.
Falling asleep atop a rocky outcropping in the Red River Gorge, waking up being engulfed by clouds, watching them eventually mist away to reveal the valley below.
Hearing the Dalai Lama speak in Centennial Park. Amazing.
Driving 4600 miles and seeing 7 national monuments in less than a week.
1000 mile road trips with friends to visit our extended biking communities

I like to eat good food made with love. I'm still learning my new city but have discovered some terrific spots for food and drinks:
The Flying Saucer for sweet potato hash and warm, spiced apples. delicious coffee and biscuits, too.
Feed: their theme is chickens and it's all organic, but they accommodate vegetarians, no problem.
Tecalitlan: when you're craving something surreal, plus tacos and margaritas.
Jupiter Outpost: the best coffee and vegan cake is closer than you thought.
Club Foot: nothing sounds more refreshing for summer than a stiff gin and tonic for $2.50, right?
