ABOUT ME

We are a New Zealand couple who travelled extensively throughout Europe & the UK in 2007-2009 and arrived back home to NZ in July 2009. We live in a small one bedroom cottage (shed) about 20km out of Tauranga. It is very peaceful here. We would prefer surfers to come at the weekend as we both work full time during the week and we would like to spend time with surfers while you are here.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first experience was with Anastasia in Athens, we had a great time with Mathis in Munich and also with Kyle in Berlin and also Jens in Berlin too. We stayed with Dider in Paris and were rescued from a few nights in the wild by Antoine in Paris too. All very positive experiences!

We walked the Camino de Santiago from Roncesvalles to Santiago de Compostela (approx 750km) in May-July 2007 with Sarah's Mum. What an awesome experience! Would love to do it again some day...
