About Me
CURRENT MISSION
meet new people, see new places and most importantly love life!
ABOUT ME
I consider myself a humble individual so these profile descriptions are not my strong suit! I feel I am a very open-minded, caring person who enjoys the present moment where ever that moment finds me. I I tend to see the best in people and situations and find great joy in learning about others as well as myself. The outdoors has had a profound impact on my life and I spend as much time exploring earth as possible.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, laugh, love and learn each day. If I can do any or all of those each and everyday it's been a good day. It's cliche, but I treat people and the earth how I want to be treated. I also feel I've learned more about myself and other people through traveling than from any other activity I participate in.
Interests
i love music- playing, seeing, listening. i love spending time in the outdoors; mainly backpacking, kayaking and skiing but I'm getting into rock climbing as well. I'm really into all sports, especially my Packers! I'm into reading and learning and having good conversations with good people. I love to eat, there's nothing better than a good meal, especially around a campfire or after a long day outdoors. I'm into photography as well, mainly the wonders that Mother Nature provides. That's a small glimpse, I could go on forever.

Music, Movies, and Books
I respect and appreciate all forms of music; everything from bluegrass to hip-hop and everything in between.
I read a lot of history and nature related books, two of my biggest interests (Thoreau, Aldo Leopold, Marcus Aurelius, etc) with my favorite author being Ed Abbey, and magazines;
National Geographic, Smithsonian, etc.
I don't see many movies but love a good comedy and also the classics.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending 45 days in the Brooks Range of northern Alaska was an unbelievable experience. Traveling through Himalayas of Nepal and spending a summer working in Australia are up there as well. Living with wolves in Colorado has taught me more than most other experiences combined.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would enjoy sharing my experience of over-coming a life threatening disease through the use of Oriental medicine. I've had very unique experiences in terms of seeing the power of non-western medicine as an approach to health care.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Nepal, New Zealand, Nicaragua
