i have started using the couchsurfing webpage some years ago. it seems to be an excellent idea. so far i was usually staying in hostels, where you also meet a lot of interesting travellers - but you usually do not meet any people from the country you are travelling in. that is why i hope to make good experiences with couchsurfing.

i can offer a couch in germany, where i share an appartment with two guys and three girls, all studying or working.
