ABOUT ME

I work as a music and theatre teacher at an after school program in Brooklyn. I am also the Educational Director of an eco-theatre company called Green Theatre Collective. When I'm not teaching, I sing with my own folk band called MELA, and with rock cover band 3rd Rail.

And, I'm addicted to traveling.

I just finished traveling around the world, and looking to return some of the hospitable karma that was bestowed on me as I traveled.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Met a crazy cat named David at the Metropolitan Museum of Art last summer. He was from England, traveling the states during his year abroad. We had an adventure that the day, and he ended up staying with me in San Francisco for 5 days! good fun.

Music, performance, travel, trains, creating, walking, coffee shops, late night wine, meditating, encouraging people to use their imagination, the sun, the moon, swimming in an east coast ocean, learning about and experiencing cultures different from the one I know, the way the world is right after it rains, learning how to play instruments from around the world.

Climbing the Great Wall of China on my 26th Birthday with an awesome cat from Israel. Sunset with noodles on the wall with a few Chinese dudes...best birthday I could ask for.
