I started to use CouchSurfing when I was studing civil engenering in Porto, Portugal, and I confess I started because I could save some money with it, but now a days I recommend it to everyone I know because more than save money you get to know the culture and places of the citys and countrys that you problably wouldn’t have if you weren't staying with a local person
