ABOUT ME

After traveling a bit in Europe for 2 months, I am quite sad to be back home but I am making the best of it. I now work everyday except Sunday so I am extremely busy but still always looking for new friends, especially those who share the same passion of travel as I do. I live in a very small town but that means there is a huge amount of beautiful nature to see and it is not extremely populated. I am a 30 minute drive from Lafayette, IN, a 1.5 hour drive from Indianapolis, IN and a 3 hour drive from Chicago, IL.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is at your disposal. Don't be a wuss.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Labyrinth, August Rush, The Meaning of Life, Airplane! I like many foreign and domestic films. Have any suggestions?

Music, to note only a few: Joanna Newsom, Frank Zappa, Muse, Kings of Convenience, Whitest Boy Alive, Goran Bregovic, Depeche Mode, Daniel Knox, Tribe Called Quest, The Police, Joy Division, lots of foreign music and lots of 1950-1960s. Once again, any suggestions?

Books: Mostly scientific and historical non-fiction. Also anything by Douglas Adams.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Far too many but I think the one thing I never saw myself doing was taking a 10 hour ferry ride from Turku, Finland to Stockholm, Sweden.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know many things on many subjects. Feel free to ask about anything from different countries, languages, cultures, astronomy, or anthropology. Don't ask me about politics, fashion or economics, though. These things I know nothing about.
I am interested in learning the day-to-day life of different cultures and methods in successfully immersing oneself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, United States
