ABOUT ME
I am a bit awkward with hi-situations, so tell me: Do we hug? Three kisses at the cheeks? Or two? Do we shake hands? And should I say my name which you already know?
I also don't like these boxes where you are supposed to tell all about yourself in 10 lines. I can tell you that I am a student with many weird jobs on the side that all in some way or another includes coffee.
PHILOSOPHY
Still working on it
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Mostly surfing, since I haven't been so lucky in terms of finding permanent places to live till now. I have hosted many homeless friends, but only a handful of couchsurfers.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My home have often turned into a bit of a hostel with temporarily homeless friends staying for months. My favorite couchsurfing experience (though not through CouchSurfing) was when a friend of a friend dropped by to pick up some stuff one day, and after looking around my apartment concluded that I had an awful lot of space for one person - maybe there was room for one more? He ended up staying on a madras in my living room for half a year.
Other than that I have couchsurfed my way through eastern Turkey and from Italy to Denmark. I also started hosting though couchsurfing and I have had some really nice guests.
Interests
I love long trips with trains because you can do nothing but wait, relax and let the mind wander till you arrive, i like slow mornings, long phone conversations, cooking, eating, drinking coffee, (winter) swimming, painting, writing, sewing, walking, thinking, learning, talking to strangers, travelling, watering my plants, listening to weird radio podcasts about random things I never even gave a thought, listening to audio books, laughing, warm showers, singing in warm showers, and probably a lot more that I can't think of right now

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitchhiking round Turkey and experiencing hospitality I never even dreamed of. Being invited into a family's house in Urfa during a bus conversation that had to be translated through many different passengers from Arabic to Kurdish, from Kurdish to German and from German to Danish. Being dressed out in a weird wedding dress and laughed at while the grandmother was praying at the rooftop and the men were watching Turkey almost win the European football championship.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am trying to learn to play guitar, but I'm still not sure what to do with the right hand. Any suggestions?
I am also trying to learn to speak Italian and Turkish, so if you can help me out i'd appriciate it. Actually most languages have my interest, so any other language would do as well
