About Me
CURRENT MISSION
The rest of my profile is from 2008-2012 when I hosted a million people. My current mission is a round the world trip with my wife and kids. Skipping out on winter and seeking long days near warm beaches.
ABOUT ME
I love traveling and adventure. Check out my pics and you'll get a good idea of what i'm like. I'm never too serious, easy going, and I try to pass on the hospitality that others have shown my around the world. Although I can relate to anyone, travelers and active people are my favorite.
I am a founding member of a new website for local guiding. Check it out and browse my profile to see the things we could be doing when you visit. Www.guidehop.com/Aaron
I usually ride pedi-cab (bicycle taxi) wherever I go, and i'll know more about the outdoors in the area than most other people. My favorite things are cliff diving and rope swings.
PHILOSOPHY
Live your dream and love your life. You can do anything and thats not just a motto. Make the most of what you have. An optimist never has a bad day.
Be motivated. It changes everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I travel 4.5 months of the year. For the last 7 years I have relied on hitchhiking (and random people or camping) for places to stay, but am currently exploring the couch surfing idea. Usually, I host more than surf.
Also, I always like to meet other travelers so that we can exchange stories and tips. I would love to have people stop in anytime and the last minute "oh shit" phone calls are always fine with me. My stuff is your stuff and I have alot of toys. (kayaks, unicycles, moped, tandem bikes, etc.)
I prefer last minute request because I know what i'm doing then... i rarely plan in advance.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Ive hosted some great people, recuited for my hitchhiking race, and stayed with people in europe, new zealand, and hawaii.

I consider myself an expert on hitchhiking. 7 years of experience has me in a place where I have it down to an art and can get a ride in 15 minutes or less. I have written a picture book guide to hitchhiking and it can be found online. Check it out at http://www.vagablogging.net/the-complete-guide-to-hitchhiking.html#hide
