About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live my dreams.

ABOUT ME

I'm a Quebecer who likes to travel and try new things. If you need a proof, in one month, I will move to the UK to teach maths in my second language (English). I'm also easy-going and I like to meet new people.... even though I have a hard time to make the first move to meet someone (because I don't have opening lines).

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is worth worrying, there is always a solution.
Try everything so no regret.
The future you have, tomorrow, won't be the same future you had, yesterday - Chuck Palahniuk

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed some couches; Laurence's in Paris, Renato's in Barcelona, Elsie and Melissa's in Barcelona (they are not on CS), Sophie and Gunter's in Switzerland (not on CS), Georges' in Budapest, Liciu's in Buchuresti, Gregor and Fabian's in Vienna, Patryck's in Berlin, Linux's in Stockholm, Linn's in Oslo, Alex's in Kopenhagen and finally Chantale's in Amsterdam. I have also participated to a CS party when I was in Budapest and Amsterdam..

Interests

Movies and travels are a big part of my life. You can learn, feel so much by watching those moving pictures or go meet new people around the world. It is my first experience abroad, and I just love it. With people from other countries, you can share so much, discuss and argue, have fun with them... that's what I really like. Climbing, readings, sociology (enjoy discussing about racism, sexism... all the isms) and teaching (I want to become a teacher) are part of my everyday life also.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... don't get me started. One that everybody must see just for the reflexion behind it (who's racist and how everybody can be both good and bad) is CRASH. Books wise, my favorite author is Chuck Palahniuk (he wrote Fight Club... you know Edward Norton/Brad Pitt self-destructing schizophreniac). Two of his best pieces are Invisible Monsters and Haunted. So many issues are discussed, it is almost overwhelming!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled 13 countries in Europe and lived in France for 5 months during my first traveling experience; second traveling experience: I move to the UK for two years.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City State
