About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore the southern hemisphere with our little family of five

ABOUT ME

We are a dutch family living in Australia. We have twins that are 3 years old and a little girl of 19 months (ouf, now i have to keep updating this every month). We love traveling and learning. Seithseeing and seeing the top tens out of the guidebook is not realy important to us, but meeting and getting to know people and their favourite places is what we value. We live and work in Brisbane right now and hope to travel a bit in this regio n and make a trip to tasmania an hopefully do some couchsurfing there around christmas.

PHILOSOPHY

Enjoy every bit of life that is given to you.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We love to have fun and meaningfull meetings with people who dare to have this blond family of 5 (of wich 3 little ones) on their couch.
I dreamed about traveling by visiting people instead of staying in accomodation, so you can realy know where you are and connect to fellow world inhabitants, and now i am finding out there is something like the couchsurfing project! I'm exploding of excitedment!!!
And living in the netherlands again in 2009 happily return the favour.

Interests

Art, people, kids, walking, culture, religion, food, life in general. Love to see how all humans are unique and all our lifes full of learning experiences that we can share and enjoy. Ah, everything I write here sounds very cheezy, and it is cheezy, but very true and you know that two, that sharing life makes it worthwhile.
