ABOUT ME

I have 2 daughters and 2 cats. I'm happy when I'm on the move! taking courses, playing soccer and ultimate frisbee, guitar, or traveling.

I love my teaching job and hope to teach overseas again one day after experiencing a 2 year stint in an international school in Asia.

I'm a Gemini... young at heart and full of energy and playfulness. Looking forward to exploring some more of the world!

Live and let live, tolerance, acceptance, releasing ego thinking, learning how to BE...being present, as an observer and a participant in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host when I'm able (summer is easiest). I've couchsurfed in Europe, Greece and Costa Rica.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

May 2008 - Michele from Amsterdam. July 2008 - Claudio and Isabel from Switzerland. Aug. 2008 - Britta and Melanie from Germany. Oct. 2008 - Lina from Columbia. Nov. 2008 - Jenny from Baltimore. I was in Europe the summer of 2008 and had great experiences with couchsurfer hosts in Paris and Amsterdam. I've also had visitors in Malaysia, Meera and Dawn (from England). I stayed with a lovely couchsurfer in Athens, Greece in early 2011. My most recent stay was with Linda in Costa Rica in early 2012.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went bungee jumping at a quarry in Quebec, visited Russia during the Cold War, walked the red sands of PEI, beaches of Vancouver, tropics of Mexico, drove the coastal highway of California and hiked Mount Kinabalu in Borneo.
Living overseas gave me the chance to explore Angkor Wat (Cambodia), the Great Ocean Road (Australia), the people of Bali, the history of Sri Lanka, the food of Thailand, the impressiveness of Singapore, and the beauty of Vietnam.
Hiked the Takoro Gorge in 2019 (Taiwan). Played in ultimate frisbee tournaments in Malaysia, Bangkok, LA and New Jersey.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning about energy work and the connection between our mind and body. I'm also interested in self-growth by addressing our thoughts as the underlying cause of all limiting beliefs. (Beliefs are just practiced thoughts after all).
