ABOUT ME

I love people! I love culture, substance, texture, anything i can bite down into and tear a chunk off of :) I like to paint, but its hard to find the time. I like to think, but its hard to find the paint. My friends tell me I'm crazy but i say it's them that are nutz. I think I'm just Per-fucked! My real passion is the mind: understanding the mind- the spirit - the body - consiousness and everything that goes along with it, self, the other, attention, perception, conception, beingness, spirituality, the universe, the dicotomy between the physical and the non-physical, i could go on but whats the use?

PHILOSOPHY

Life is not a test, although it feels like one at times. We create our own destiny, through our choices and what we attract into our experience via our thoughts. We all chose to be here at one time or another, here, living in this physical world. As well, we all have a spiritual connection to the non-physical world, our inner being. This soul, or energy, is eternal. Energy can neither be created nor distroyed. We are all one. We are here to add to "all-that-there-is". To create, to explore, to live and desire. To be.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to host people, it makes me feel so proud of my country! This project is full of so many wonderful people so I love to bend over backwards for the people I host, and make their stay most enjoyable!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a sweetheart from Germany just recently. I hope she had a good experience, as I did for sure! How much fun! Then i had some awsome German boys, so far its been just Germans come stay with me, which is awsome. But you dont have to be German to stay with me, promise! Just wanted to make that be known :P

Intereses

I'm easily amused and will be interested in anything you put infront of me. Pretty much my rule is if it's shiny or spinny I keep it.

Música, películas y libros

I learn from the band TOOL, nuf said. Moving on...I love all kinds of music, art, literature, anything creative that shows talent. The book "the Alchemist", if you haven’t read it, please do, its beautiful and deserves to be read by you. Bands I like, radiohead for sure, because I am saw them in Barcelona (yesss!), Rage Against the Machine, same reason, Paris (yessss!)! Hmmm, so many bands and artists come to mind. I like every genre of music and no sooner could I pick one style that describes me (country, blues, techno, rock) than I could one style of clothing (funky, chic, casual, boho). I watch a lot of movies, but am not the type that can list off the great ones I’ve seen, for lack of memory (or maybe, alas, intelligence :P). But I am one of those annoying people who loves to sit and analyze the camera angles, cinematography, cheesy montages, etc-but I also know how to shut-the F*%K up as well! :0 I love graffitti art and yearn to have someone teach me the basics. When i paint it comes out in a more impressionistic/gesture-like, convuluted mess of style. I love the transedental quality of Rothko, the colour palate of Monet, the genuis of Picasso and the above all, the ideas of the surrealist and automatist movements.

RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE reunion tour 2007, palm springs, california, 3 days camping in blistering heat in the middle of the f**king desert! Under-prepared and over-stimulated!! Croudsurfing to Killing in the Name Of in Paris, watching Radiohead by the Mediteranian sea, partying in Ibiza till 10am, getting lost in the red light district in Amsterdam, singing with an Irishman in Cork, surviving a three day Manitoba blizzard when i was a kid. (The snow was so high you couldn't walk because you'd literally sank to your arm pits.) Just to name a few..
