Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm very fortunate to have been able to travel as much as I have and meet wonderful people all around the world. I try to offer an exchange to all of my hosts - sharing stories, skills, etc.

Couchsurfing is awesome! A great way to meet people and share cultures!
Interests
I love to practice yoga, walk on the the beach and cycle in the rain. I love to explore new places and experience new cultures. I love to share a good bottle of wine & some good tunes with friends. I love to meet people and have a meaningful conversation - for 5 minutes or 5 hours! I love to be passionate about what I do and share in other people's passions.

Music, Movies, and Books
I truly love the music that nature provides...the sound of a baby laughing or crying, the sound of waves lapping the shore, the sound of the wind blowing through the trees or the sound of the rain as it beats the pavement. Of course, I also like the music that humans make!!
I enjoy most movies that don't follow the Hollywood formula - I love almost everything by the Coen brothers, and my other favs include: The Usual Suspects, Adaptation, Matchstick Men, The Party, Snatch, Lock, Stock, What the Bleep and I have a special place in my heart for Monty Python!
I enjoy reading many different genres. I especially like books that help me to better understand myself or my role in this world and books that challenge my own philosophy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've witnessed is a shark-feeding while scuba diving around 500 km's off the coast of Cairns, Australia. It was awesome to be so close to about 100 sharks and other fish that were attacking the food that was lowered into the water. We were less than 15m from the sharks and I really had to pinch myself to remember that I was not watching this on tv. When the feeding frenzy was done, the sharks simply moved on - ostensibly looking for something/someone else to munch on!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to share my knowledge of languages, yoga, cooking, nutrition, psychology, etc, but I prefer sharing conversation and philosophies and learning together.
