About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To seek that rapture and ecstacy

ABOUT ME

I've decided that it is time to meet the world. The last few months have been interesting and energy packed and all of that has revolved around music. Right now I have decided to move to Boulder where the scene is a little bigger and continue to use music as a tool to reach out and into people hearts, to break barriers, and maybe see people a little bit closer. These times are tough for the world and as my old friend Mel tells me "about all you can do now is learn to grow food and work on your soul."
I love to laugh and shout really loud in empty streets. I love to play music on the street because you feel more like the people walking right by you. I love to challenge my fears every single day. I love making coffee and spending long hours at coffee tables with everything from friends to books to guitars. I look forward to the future and I try to always be optimistic.

I can't wait to do some traveling in Thailand this fall.

PHILOSOPHY

All you need is love.
There is nothing you can do that can't be done,
There is nothing you can say that can't be sung

If only more people realized these things.

"Few will have the greatness to bend history itself; but each of us can work to change a small portion of events, and in the total of all those acts will be written the history of this generation... It is from numberless diverse acts of courage and belief that human history is thus shaped. Each time a man stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope, and crossing each other from a million different centers of energy and daring, those ripples build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been to a few potlucks where i met interesting people abound. Everybody is doing cool things right now it seems like.

Interests

Music, walking, hiking, learning, loving, painting, construction, being on the ocean, traveling, talking, being quiet at times, reading, spontaneous adventure, sleeping on the floor (or a couch), cutting through small talk, cooking for friends, drinking coffee, doing whatever.
I really like to start walking with no particular direction and try to get lost so that I can find my way back. Sometimes I have a general direction, but out of this unfolds a unique understanding of a place and how it is connected, and if it doesn't it affords a good opportuntiy to think, and if not that it is at least excercise. I have had some awesome times on adventures like these, some slightly hungry times when they get long, but never a waste of time.

I really love music.
I love women in summer dresses.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am proud to say that I have slept under the stars with at least a hundred Sikh pilgrims at the golden Temple in Amritsar.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my music and some good conversation. I sometimes talk way to much when someone gets me going, although I have an initial shy period of maybe 3-6 minutes depending on my mood and health.
I love to cook breakfast.
