About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Revolutions you can dance to.
ABOUT ME
I like libertine fun and dangerous talk. Good books. I treasure the people I know and yearn for all those out-of-the way, barely-seen places that have so much to give, if you find them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm into the idea of mutual aid or work-trade. This has included woofing, or helping people who have hosted me with projects. Hopefully, this will gain levels of sophistication. I'm certainly romantic enough to imagine CS could be a seed-bed for more great international projects.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Had a cyclist from Montreal sleep on my couch. She and her boyfriend were lovely.
I've been formally and informally surfing and hosting the past three years. Eternally grateful.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Man Who Fell in Love With The Moon by Tom Spanbauer, Italo Calvino's Invisible Cities and The Savage Detectives by Roberto Bolano. Ursula K. LeGuin's The Dispossessed and Waiting for the Barbarians by J.M Coetzee. Raymond Carver's stories. Geek Love, by Katherine Dunn. Pretty-much anything by Denis Johnson.
Tons more.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I saved a puppy from the side of the highway in Tennessee, in the company of a trucker I was riding with. The guy pulled that rig over pretty quickly.
Teach, Learn, Share
How to write dangerous poetry and round-house short fiction.
I'd love to learn magic spells and garden tricks.
