ABOUT ME

This profile is for both me (Lauren) and my boyfriend (Jamie). We are a total package, most of the time. We are both easy to get along with, some would even say fun. Quiet nights, I knit while Jamie reads Lovecraft. Loud nights, Jamie plays music or DJs while I'm dancing. We are pretty well balanced.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because we are moving soon, we don't have a place for people to stay. Yet. When we settle down in Richmond, VA, we will have a guest room that people can crash in. We are especially interested in hosting traveling bands, performers, bike riders, and artists. We might travel a bit before settling down in Richmond. Maybe to places like Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Athens GA, Wilmington, Savannah, and Austin. Maybe we can crash on your couch?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed at friends' houses, and they have stayed at mine. In some cases, they have been friends of friends. We have had whole bands stay with us. The kindest hosts let me stay with them for a month in San Francisco while I looked for a place to live.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach someone about the components of and how to operate a large format camera. I can teach someone to knit. Jamie can play music with you. He can show you interesting videos. We can talk about underground music and the local music of Providence, RI.
