About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To experience the world, one couch at a time.
ABOUT ME
We're just back from a 7-month journey around the world! Kim is a music teacher, and Clark works in business. We quit our jobs in May 2010 to travel the world and have crazy adventures. We saw 24 countries! Now, we're back and settling into a new apartment in Chicago.
We enjoy hanging out with our CS guests, and we like all kinds of food and music. We know some great places to eat and hang out in the city and are looking forward to a fun summer! We are easy to get along with, and we like to laugh, drink, eat, and hang out. We really enjoy making our guests feel at home. You'll get a key to our place and Kim loves to cook!
PHILOSOPHY
Life is short, so why waste it. Do what you have always wanted to do and don't look back.

Music, Movies, and Books
Oh boy. There are too many movies to list. We love movies. We'll tell you all about our favorite movies if we host/stay with you.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Honestly, our lives have been pretty boring except for our big trip. Quitting our jobs to travel was a great decision! Some memorable moments were riding in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia, Turkey, nearly getting blown to bits during Diwali in India, and having our boat break down when Island hopping in Thailand. Petra, Jordan is the most amazing sight we've seen.
I would say one of the most historic things we've done is attend election night in Grant Park when Barack Obama was elected President. Kim has seen him speak twice, and we were only 50 feet from the stage.
